I think it's true. McCain, by this time, would be a shoe-in. So, folks, why would McCain be a shoe-in? Well, one reason is campaign finance reform. Isn't that the first bill Gore intends to get passed when elected?

To borrow Gore's "I'm my own man" speech, I think the best proof that McCain was and is 'his own man' was that the GOP machine knew they could not control McCain...so they went for the safe, vastly inferior candidate. McCain made a valiant effort to fight the righties that control the Republican party...I hope he does not give up.
