AS: "Perot is senile or something is wrong with his brain at age 70."

Shame on you, is that the best you can do- attack Perot personally just because he disagrees with you?

"He praised Bush for Gore's strengths and criticized Gore for Bush's weaknesses."
You are deluded son, how about some examples. I think it is fair to say that Ross knows these 2 guys far better (and more objectively) than you ever could.

"You could tell Larry King was embarrassed and apologetic to his audience as can be. Wanted to get that old nut off the air ASAP."
I would say that Larry was surprised at the endorsement since he is well familiar with the bad feelings between the Bush family and Perot. You wanted him off the air so you try and project your feelings to King. Larry likes Ross. You know it, I know it, everyone that follows his show knows it. Give me one, just one example of something Larry said to indicate that he wanted to get Perot off the air. Just one.

"Will probably influence about 5000 voters nationwide." Know way to tell. But you know this is wishful thinking on your part. You better hope that the GOP doesn't run ads of some of his comments.

"Perot is a hypocrite too as his big thing was paying off the national debt and campaign finance reform. Only Gore promises those two things, Bush doesn't and won't do anything about them. Fundraising from corporations is Bush's #1 strength. Without it he's still be sitting in the bleachers drinking beer and chewing peanuts."
Ross answered this. He believes that Bush's plans are more fiscally sound. Perot's attitude toward Clinton-Gore fundraising is well known. He likes to judge a man by his deeds, not his words.

Some of Perots main points were as follows:

Bush has done an outstanding job of getting good people (from both sides) together to solve problems.

Bush may not have a stellar record of military service but at least he doesn't embellish it.

Ross supported Ann Richards when she ran against George Bush. He was pleasantly surprised by Bush's performance and his easy re-election.

Ross believes that Gore is a liar and career politician that will do or say anything to get elected.

I never cared much for Perot and thought he was a little off-balance in some of his wild accusations in the past. But one thing you can't argue is the strength of his convictions and his general disdain for both major parties. In this context, it his hard to argue with his objectivity (in the sense of not favoring one candidate over the other due to party affiliation).

You know AS, you lack credibility when your posts are so blatantly subjective.
