Now... since you insist... here is more rubbish...

That is a real low-class, desperation tactic that gives American politics in general a bad name.

Correction, The "bad name" is for ALL politicians, regardless of the flag they run under. H L Mencken already said it before you:

"One hears murmurs against Mussolini [1931] on the ground that he is a desperado: the real objection to him is that he is a politician."

What bothers me more than Bush's drinking "problem" is his unpublicized links to the Christian right, which his campaign has managed to soft-pedal very effectively. If elected he will be more beholden to theocrats than he lets on.

Very accurate ! watch out for these wide eyed wackos...

Fortunately, the fourth branch of government (Wall St. and the corporations) are much more powerful than the theocrats.

The higher god is the bond market, that is what keep these lunatics [politicians], within certain boundaries of reason, however... be careful, Bush is the "foot in the door" beyond that... who knows what they have up their sleeves. Besides, the theocrats have never been in the powerful position they will be under a Bush victory, (assuming Congress is retained by the wackos), so no one knows how they would influence wall street and the bond market.

Personally I don't think they care, that is part of their raison d'etre. That is why they are called "The Extreme Right" (Read: the west branch of the Ayathola Khomeini)

Dear QS: Well, I hope I am wrong if he wins but from everything I have been able to glean Gore is FAR TO THE LEFT of Clinton, Gore also has no compunction about clamping down hard with Govt Regulation of Big Business, and finally, I have read his book and his ecological ideas frankly scare the hell out of me. If I owned any health care stocks I would be scared also, but I dont so no problem there for me. JDN
