You're mixing apples and oranges here.

Claude's original post didn't state consumer or business Internet usage nor did he point out a difference between consumer tech spending and business spending. Apples and oranges that they may be, it's pretty hard to separate them when you are talking growth in the tech sector. (although everyone tries)

I concede that consumer use of the Internet may have leveled off.....temporarily. This is a good thing primarily because the overall traffic is doubling every 100 days. Now either the people that are left are getting a lot more "stuff" or companies are really ramping up their usage.

BTW who do you think will produce the most in terms of dollars spent on tech, consumers who want everything to be free or almost free.... or the companies that can save millions by using the Internet for their business processes?
