Chernobyl's 3rd power unit may resume operation on Dec 2.

KIEV, November 28 (Itar-Tass) - The nuclear regulation department of the
Ukrainian Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources does not rule out the
possibility of a resumption of the operation of the third power unit of the
Chernobyl nuclear power station (CNPS) which was disconnected on Monday due to a
short-circuit on the Chernobyl-Vinnitsa power transmission line due to its icing
up.

Vadim Grischenko, deputy head of the nuclear regulation department, told
journalists on Tuesday that the power unit may be allowed to resume operation if
the managing organisation ration confirms that the current condition of the
power unit, piping in the reactor's cooling systems, in particular, does not
require prolonged repairs.

A CNPS management official said a resumption of the operation of the third power
unit, the only working one out of the station's four, is slated for December 2.

double post thing. Maybe I already drank too much coffee?

Good morning. How are you?

Check this out...

I was waiting with Cielo for her school bus this morning, and down the street comes a taxi with Ohio plates and a trailor full of what appeared to be bedroom furniture tugging along in the rear.

WOW, talk about an expensive move!
