The "Bush effect" means that if Bush is elected, the special interests to whom he has pledged his allegiance, like Big Oil, Tobacco, Military Contractors, and Microsoft, will see their share prices rise as Bush pushes to ease government restrictions on their industries and open government purchasing contracts. However, many companies and industries that haven't opened their pockets to his campaign and his party rightly fear another four years of GOP control of both the Executive and Legislative branches, and may see share price declines.

You can say the same thing about "Gore Effect" too. If Gore elected, you can see the Health Care, Drug, Biotech, Tobacco, Oil and Energy, and Microsoft will be underpressured. The Trial Lawyers, Union, Communist China will have their own rooms in the White House.

Who, pray tell, are those companies and industries that have suffered under GOP control? Also just when did the GOP control both Executive and Legislative branches?

You have a habit of making up things, are you related to Gore?
