Trindy: You're absolutely right on the name of the movie. It's "Call Westside 777" and not what I thought it was. Good catch. I should have checked www.imdb.com first. Jimmy Stewart played a hard-boiled newspaper reporter with a slick line for every situation. No doubt the right-wingers now will accuse me of deliberately lying, distorting the truth, lying under oath, lying "most of the time," lying "all the time" and being a lying stooge for James Carville. I'll also likely get a warning to quit lying from the SI PC Police.
