BostonView: Regarding WEBX and CTRA, I'd probably be inclined to go with the "both" option: WEBX is overvalued, CTRA is undervalued.

The wildcard in this market space right now -- a real and serious threat to CTRA -- is Ray Ozzie's new venture, Groove Networks. This is a collaboration platform built upon a peer-to-peer architecture. The broad brushstrokes, which Ozzie recently revealed, sound hugely impressive. And Ozzie is one of the greats: even Bill Gates thinks the world of him. (Ozzie was the genius behind Lotus Notes). So this can't be dismissed as just another cool dot-com fantasy that'll never amount to much.

Groove is still a development-stage company, and we still have much to learn about its platform and intentions; but it's definitely worth watching as a potential competitor and as a potential partner for CTRA. I'm still as excited as ever about the emerging market for collaboration products; however, I'm decidedly more cautious about CTRA itself, at least until the competitive situation with Groove becomes clearer. I wouldn't want to make a substantial bet against Ray Ozzie in this space.
