AL Gore WAS instrumental in creating the internet. Absolutely. The inventor of it from the 60's gave him full credit and endorsed him. Al was the first and only congressman championing the "information superhighway" from the beginning when most on the Hill didn't even know what he was talking about. That is called vision, smarts and leadership. Al's not perfect but compared toi Bush there's no contest. Bush has never accomplished anything in his life which hasn't been given to him on a silver spoon. The one business he started went bankrupt and lost 371 million. Though he insider traded and got out early.
