Bush says that he lied about his arrest record out of concern for his daughters. But less than two years after his drunk driving conviction, Bush ran unsuccessfully for Congress. While campaigning, Bush didn't see fit to disclose his conviction to the voters even though, as part of his drunk driving sentence, Bush's Maine license was still suspended. And his daughters weren't even born at the time. Bush will say or do anything to get elected.
