Robert - your post was directed at cheryl but the response seems directed at my post.

In any event, you are the one who is taking the post out of context. She did not say Europeans are a majority, or imply that they contribute less in any way than their counterparts from other parts of the world or the US. Her point was that many Europeans prefer the economic environment here to the one they experienced in their home countries - and I think there is certainly justification in that viewpoint.

Perhaps this is some kind of "ad hominum" argument - rather than discuss cheryl's point, which is that an increasingly intrusive government works against the interests of a fast moving high tech community - you chose to attack her, and as a "racist". I think you need to look at your own motivation, and cheryl's original post.
