Albert, <What response intel is preparing for mustang as a server chip and mustang derivatives for mobile computing?>

Ever hear of Pentium 4 Xeon? Ever hear of Intel's efforts to continue driving down the power requirements of Pentium III (which are already at much better levels than Athlon could ever hope for)?

You seem to pose your questions in a way which assumes that we can't answer them. Nice try.

Mad Albert - Re:"What response intel is preparing for mustang as a server chip"

What server chip?

The 760 MP does not work so there are no dual processor solutions. As a matter of fact the 760 does not work either without a kludge capacitor.

Did you forget? The MustStink has ben put on the shelf while AMD places its efforts on the SludgePumper, scheduled for arrival the end of 2001.

AMD is DOA in the server arena until the end of 2001. Come back then and talk about AMD "serveers", if there are any.
