So far my experience has shown that dual channel is what works. I would be losing a lot of money if I was only on-line. However, I may use my stores as distribution centers and combine advertising. I see no pure play retailer close to turning a profit and I doubt that will occur.

It's a mindshare thing.
Second generation internet buyers know how to use a credit card online...

It doesn't take ARIBA's 40 Billion dollar market cap and MSDW's analytic guidance... (that putting a catalog online is a hard thing)....duh.
