Bush reflects a party split by this issue.

Indeed that is the truth...

And probably why you don't have to worry about Roe V. Wade being reversed anytime soon.

However, I do see the end of PBA, which is completely non-justified from any evidence I've seen.

And I do see late term elective abortions reduced or eliminated except in the case of risk to the mother's life.

There simply has to be some moderation on the use of abortion for birth control. Women should make up their minds early on in their pregnancy as to whether they want a child or not, if only for the purpose of preserving some semblance of the sanctity of life.

regarding a politicians responsibility to reflect the electorate, if you lived during a time when people thought that witches existed, and that they should be drowned or burned at the stake, and suppose you were Mayor of that town, and "the people" thought that your neighbor was a witch, what would you do?
