Note to self: ITWO could/should join this party soon as she matures and her financials start getting as strong as Siebel's. Need to study up on ITWO more.. and quickly.

In terms of B2B, study these four areas: content, buy side, sell side and trading exchange. Locate each one of those divisions and who all the players are in each. Break out the revenue growth and deals for each of those four divisions. Then identify, using gorilla game criteria, the exact location in the technology adoption life cycle for the four divisions that i2 Technologies is participating in business to business solutions. Hint: they are not all in the same location.

After you do that, go back and revisit your comment to see if you can compare any of those four areas with the current CRM location in the TALC that Siebel is located. Then take a walk through the balance sheets and income statements for i2 over the past two years. Don't forget to study the $9.3 Billion acquisition this year. See if you can identify the direction of the trend in all of the metrics for each quarter over the past two years. Finally, study the application solutions of ebusiness to see the threat to ERP and who the vendors are that are leading this sea change.

It might take you away from your trading activities, but then again isn't that the point of gorilla gaming?

Mlady,

What's with the "she" for these companies. I thought they were "it's". Are there any "he's" on your list, or are you avoiding them? (gg)
