I think (but who really knows)
That if a stock is on its way to being a ten bagger and you get out when you have a triple or quadruple within a year, you did just fine: perhaps the thing to do is keep some of it but take a large gain off the table so you have something to show for it.

If you have made "enough" for the lifestyle you want: wouldn't that remove the emotion from your future stock decisions? I would think so, but I won't know until the next time I make "enough" and cash out, so I'll let you know then if it worked for me!We could ask LindyBill from the Gorilla and King thread: he could tell us if his decisions are unemotional (but then we'd have to know if they were emotional before he had "enough" because perhaps they weren't)
