You can try out my suggestion for sending and receiving faxes with an analog modem from your DSL Modem equipped PC without getting your telephone company involved. Just use a telephone extension cable to connect your analog modem to one of your existing telephones. Places like Wal-Mart or Radio Shack sell splitters so you can easily piggy back an analog modem on an existing telephone line.
