Sorry, JDN. Those darn Euro-trash types have this nasty tendency to write the day first when they abbreviate a date; dd/mm/yy instead of mm/dd/yy. It's sort of like they have everything else backwards too. That story is dated November 3.

The Register is British. 3/11 is 3rd of November in Europe.

Edit - sorry, I see u have already picked up on that. BTW, it makes sense to write the date in order or reverse order of significance as in day/months/year. Why jumble it up?

Do you write half past midday as 30:12:00 ? <g>
