I don't recall the Democrats even supporting the Gulf War. They were luke warm at best. You aren't suggesting that the Democrats fired off a resolution to go into bag Saddam. Let's see it. Saudi Arabia and other members of the coalition were against going into Baghdad. Some of them were supporting Saddam during the Iran-Iraq War as a buffer against Iraq and their Islamic revolution spreading.
