With CE approval, in addition to its previous FCC Part 68 and FCC Part 15 certifications, the i500(TM) can be used in any region where G.992.1 T1.413i2 Annex A has been deployed, including European countries. Compliant with all current industry standards, the i500(TM) supports connections at up to 8Mbps with telcos and service providers using G.lite/G.dmt (1.5Mbps) standards. The i500(TM) is already qualified for use in North America and Asia.
The i500(TM) operates with Infinilink's patent-pending dsl-ON(TM) auto-installation and configuration software. dsl-ON(TM) greatly reduces the time it takes to install DSL and can virtually eliminate the installation and configuration truck roll. The software is currently deployed worldwide and is available to ISPs, LECs, DSLAM manufacturers and computer OEMs.
The i500(TM) features an embedded processor responsible for implementing all ATM and protocol encapsulation software functions allowing it to provide an ``always on'' connection for network ready PCs. Furthermore, its functions will not consume or expend any CPU time from the connected PC.
Aggressively priced at $279, the i500(TM) is loaded with features and is available immediately for use with all recent Microsoft® Windows releases including Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows NT4. Additional support includes Linux and MacOS.
