Good question, Frank. As much as I'd like to see the Greens reach the limit, I think they're gonna be hard-pressed. Whether they reach it or not, I think Nader's candidacy has finally put 'em on the national map. And that's good. It'll help build a strong Green movement for congressional elections where I think they'll find greater success than have Libertarians and Reformers, et. al.

What I suspect will happen on election day is that Nader supporters--especially in the realization that Bush used his 18-year-old voting twins as a cover-up for his Maine DUI--will conclude Bush Administration policies would be jerkist and not for the good of people, but corporations. Thus, they'll not vote for Nader but instead will cast many ballots for Gore. In political terms, this will be known as an Election Day Surge toward Gore.
