Jay, Landis used to be one of the largest holders of Seagate. I wonder if he cut a deal with Seagate to sell his holdings (and thus not vote against their LBO, about which he had already publicly expressed reservations) in return for Seagate selling him a block of their Sandisk stock. You may recall that Seagate sold well over a million shares in a private transaction when they finally sold their last Sandisk shares. I don't recall exactly when that final trade took place, but it may well have been at about the right time. Doesn't really matter at this point. Just speculating. Sam
