Jay,
Landis used to be one of the largest holders of Seagate. I wonder if he cut a deal with Seagate to sell his holdings (and thus not vote against their LBO, about which he had already publicly expressed reservations) in return for Seagate selling him a block of their Sandisk stock. You may recall that Seagate sold well over a million shares in a private transaction when they finally sold their last Sandisk shares. I don't recall exactly when that final trade took place, but it may well have been at about the right time.

Doesn't really matter at this point. Just speculating.

Jay,

Remember that good ol' Rex Dwyer is with Mr. Landis.

I think there is nobody else out there that understands
SanDisk and SanDisk's potential better than Rex.
