Keep in mind, though, that things can change extremely quickly.

Even if not from an outside source(merger or outright takeover) Psinet could very well sell off XPDR, sell some properties(although one would think that might take a while) cash in some investments, get rid of Inter.net.

Then with a huge wad of cash and some lagging, low margin assets off the books, as well as the EBITDA drain from Inter.net, Psinet may come out of this with a new look. Hopefully we will see a lean Psinet with the look of a dolphin as opposed to a bloated whale(bloated with too many and the wrong types of acquisitions).

If they can pull that off, then they've easily got their 600 million plus some.

That will 1. fund the needed buildout of more centers(must do!) 2. reduce cash burn 3. keep them not only alive but allow them to thrive.
