Here is a perspective on DDR and RDRAM prices. RDRAM is cheaper than DDR and RDRAM is more expandable too
2.4GB/s PC600/700 dual channel RIMMs now $115 for 128MB or $230 for 256MB.
This is for 2.4GB/s!!

pricewatch.com

Yet the losers at Micron charge $200 for 128MB stick of pathetic slow PC1600 DDR and $2500 for that PC that can only be expanded to 256MB. You don't believe me? Here is the link. 128MB of extra PC1600 DDR will cost you $200 and you can only get PC1600 pathetic slow sticks and only up to 256MB. So in other words, $2500 buys you pure junk (if you can buy it that is cause the AMD 760 mobos are delayed due to glitches and bugs)

micronpc.com.

Let's see now:
128MB of 1.6GB/s DDR = $200
256MB of 1.6GB/s DDR = $400
256MB of 2.4GB/s RDRAM = $230

And guess what? The Micron DDR junk, can NOT be upgraded to more than 256MB. LMAO. Take a look at their site. Only 2 DIMMs and only have sticks for up to 256MB of DRAM and only PC1600 at that. For a freaking junk machine that costs $2,417.66 ($2500+ w/shipping).

What a piece of junk. And this only with the pathetic junk slow PC1600 DDR. Not even PC2100. Don't you wonder why they don't offer PC2100??????? Only idiots will buy that PC1600 junk. 100% pure idiots. I'm counting on the AMDroid suckers. We need all the AMDroid suckers to buy this junk so that we can milk them of the higher royalties. The AMDroid suckers deserve to be parted from their money. Don't you think? AMDroid suckers wanted for junk hardware. LMAO.

On the other hand, 256MB of 2.4GB/s RDRAM RIMMs = $230 and are easily expandable to 33.33% faster memory and more capacity. Enjoy!! Pentium 4s will be here very soon. In fact, they are already on sale in Belgium based on this article from The Register. The AMDroids nightmare is just beginning.
