Nadine, I realize that both parties have sold out the common man. I just tire of Clinton and his supporters praising his policies for a strong economy when the realty is this past decade has been one of the greatest credit induced speculative orgies in history. This has resulting in dangerous imbalances in the economy - overconsumption ,under investment, unsustainable trade and current account balances, near historic high private debt level. In addition, the SEC has been very slow to respond to aggressive and misleading accounting practices. Look at a chart of the money supply growth and note how it accelerated dramaticly after Bob Rubin became treasury secretary. Mike
