But if he does win ... I wonder if in addition to a tax cut we'll all get free packets of cocaine? Seriously, if Bush is elected I suspect his drug history will eventually get discussed. It'll be too rich a target and eventually he'll have to face the music. Gore rightly hasn't touched it, but once Bush is in office you can be sure it will come up. Now, I don't like this guy, but I have to admit that this will be very unfair. I believe it when Bush says he hasn't touched drink and cocaine for many years, and it really shouldn't be an issue once elected. But the whole Clinton impeachment thing really sharpened the knives, and you can be sure that someone, somewhere, will want to put Bush through the scandal machine. Well, the next four years should be good for sensational headlines, anyway. Free entertainment.
