We agree on that one. Why does Gore and Clinton attack the family? Why do they want marrieds to pay a higher tax on the same amount of income and circumstances with the only variant being married or shacking up? How can any reasonable person justify making a couple pay more in taxes simply because they are married. Yet Clinton and Gore vetoed the attempt to simply neutralize the tax to where married couples paid no more or less than their counterparts who live in sin without the benefit of legalized marriage. Defend that one put forth by Gore and Clinton.
