I will predict right now that Bush wins the popular vote 48% to 45% nationally over Gore.. but Gore wins the electoral vote due to key wins in the toss-up states.

Well, that is news....maybe Gore does have a chance. At the gym I heard a guy and girl talking...politicos....and the latest WA polls show Gore taking the state....up until now WA was a swing state (possible tie) due to the Nader vote.

Scott,
RE:"CNN state polls that show Gore has opened up 5 % and 7% leads in Michigan and Florida"

Michigan but not Florida. Apparently FL is neck and neck.
The fact that's that close suggests a lot of Michiganders and New Yorkers have flooded the place...
