Frank: A regression to motor scooters and bicycles would be awful, just awful. Tourists to Orlando and Tampa-St. Pete wouldn't know whether they were in Florida or Hanoi. I'm all for more 12-mile-to-the-gallon SUVs. That's the ticket. That's the answer. If you're prosperous, flaunt it and screw the environment. Re: losing jobs to other countries. I'm not so sure there are a whole lot of industrial sector jobs to lose to other countries anymore.
