I was under the impression that they were due LAST quarter !

Whatever.

Even if AMD does "launch" them this quarter, it seems that it is taking them 3 to 5 months to get their new CPUs into products that are available for purtchse in the retail channels.

That would still put any Mobile DooWrongs or AthWipers into Q2 2001 - at the earliest - since the infrastructure to support these would be even more difficult to put into place than desktops.
