yesterdays only poll (MSNBC/Reuters) has the polls at Bush 46, gore 44 - a 2% gain from the prior day.. is Bush's Dui revelation hurting somewhat.

With every poll showing Bush ahead save one, I find it hard to believe that Gore has much of a chance. In any case that's not why I posted.

A few weeks ago, I said that there had been two instances where the electoral college decided a presidential election at which point someone severely reprimanded me and told me there were none. Well, in reality there have been three instances.....1824, John Adams; 1876, Rutherford Hayes; and 1888, Benjamin Harrison.
