cisco will make their numbers, the question will be how they made them and what their forward guidance is, you can put it down, they will beat estimates by a penny, then we have to see how much was from investments and not operating income, thats what the analysts like to tear apart, then we have to survive their forward outlook, i agree, probably better to step aside, then play, wont miss all that much, and missing the downside is nice

Rande, Aside from the NT issues, who else in the optical sector with any clout has warned or lowered guidance? (and the dog, LU does not count...)

GLW and JDSU, 2 major suppliers are still sold out for at least 2 quarters. tp
