I agree, I'm close to many T employees(which btw are beside themselves in despair), and nothings going to happen until he's outa there. It's going to take some new blood with guts to make the change. It seems all of T's cash went to the cable assets, and the rest of the company was starved for reinvestment capital. Technologically, they seem way behind all over the place. I have heard the in-fighting is brutal. It's a mess, IMO.

"My take is that AT&T won't make any major decisions until they decide about what to do with CEO Armstrong."

Have you ever heard the story about the soon-to-be disposed dictator and the 2 envelopes? If so you'll understand that once Armstrong is let go, T will be in the perfect position to adopt CDMA and blame him for the whole mess. They may not want to admit anything now, but after he's gone it's the perfect time to clean ship.

Speaking of LU...we discussed this outfit last night as well. Horrible products that most in the industry tries to avoid. NT is eating their lunch from what I got.
