Once again, for posterity. I am NOT talking about his dui. I am talking about his arrest for larceny. His DUI offenseis not a felony, just a travesty. It displays horrible judgement, and a disregard for the lives of others. And for those who say "but we all had youthful indescretions in out past", I will say only this. A: 30 is not youthful, and B: We are not running for the highest office in the land. I seem to remember during the Lewinski turmoil, republicans kept harping that the president is the moral leader of our country. Now that they have presented us with a man who on all accounts proves himself to be completely amoral, they seem to have dropped that particular mantra. I have always been a conservative (leaning towards the libertarian side), but I dount I can ever again find much common ground with the republican party as a political entity.
