as a lurker, i have gathered (perhaps erroneously) that most of this thread is in favor of bush. i am a republican and WANT to vote for bush, but will probably not. i have been playing out scenarios of the after-affects of whomever gets elected- and unfortunately, pocketbook sense tells me that gore is the man i should vote for- as i am not too bright, this article by jubak is being posted here- it is a good summation of why it seems to me that pocketbook-economically concerned people might want to vote for gore-
i would be interested in any comments this thread might want to make on their take of this article's main points.
