Jan, it may not be possible to get what I am asking for since firms are only required to report short interest to the NASDAQ on a monthly basis. Guess what I am asking is if somehow one can determine whether or not the buying or selling on a security is from LONG or SHORT positions. I do not have Level II and just asking if any service out there stands out as giving the best data PRESENTATION to the user and might display when a trade is short covering for example. Though one has to specify in an individual account whether a purchase is just a normal purchase out of a cash or margin account or a purchase to cover, I do not know if that info gets transmitted along with the trade(price and number of shares). Is it possible to get that info on Level II? I have been thinking of subscribing to E-Signal but wondering if anyone out there could give recommendations or suggestions. Thanks. GH
