SI - Poll

I have followed the Bush Thread all day. Most of the discussion was warranted, but some comes with the territory. I think it important to note the number of posts regarding the candidates.

Subject 28880

George W. Bush = 59926

Subject 36496

Al Gore vs George Bush: the moderate's perspective = 4949

Subject 21768

Libertarian Discussion Forum = 4406

Just where is the Al Gore thread?

Seams the base of Libertarian's has more flux than the Democrats at this juncture.

LemonHead -- thank you for this wonderful post! I have been drowned in fighting for Bush since the day after Debate #1 when CNN called us about the FuzzyMath.com domain -- and as I sit here tonight I feel concerned: is the 7% lead in Portrait Of America correct, or are the 1-3% leads in Gallup-Zogby-Washinton Post correct?

This Arkansas Democrat-Gazette news will enable me to sleep a bit better tonight! Our own CT Hartford Courant gave a ringing endorsement to Bush last week, and has been bombarded by criticism ever since. These events make it feel like there is some sort of upwelling taking place. Even our congressional race (CT District 2) is suddenly a critical one, with a 20-year Democrat incumbent who's rarely in the district running neck-and-neck with a McCain-type insurgent military man -- McCain was here Friday campaigning!

Thanks for the inspiration!
