Joe, >Raid on chip, integrated smart array controllers, embedded NICs, hot plug hard drives and PCI cards, redundant power supplies, fans, etc. >>These features debut in very expensive servers first, but they move quickly down the food chain. Not the ones embedded in chips on the motherboard. Once embedded, they become very cheap, and they become an entry barrier to the white box types. My whole point is that it's tough to compete in the high volume market with companies that can do it all. Tony
