If the nasdaq the dow and the s&p do what the nikkie has done over the next 10 years the middle class that are depending on the market for thier retirement will be really really hurt. Oh geez bambs, what fundamental issues do you see looming that will thrust the US economy into a prolonged recession ala Japan in the '90s? I mean really, why not just state that if we experience another 1929 crash then the middle class will suffer... isn't that just as likely since there are no indications of either happening?
