CNBC

Kristian Nielsen has joined CNBC Europe as network manager for the Nordic region. He had been national manager for Canal Digital operations in Denmark.

COMCAST

Sharon Stallings has been named vice president and general manager of Comcast Corp.'s newly created Chesapeake Bay Group, made up of former Jones Intercable Inc. systems in Maryland. Stallings had been general manager of Comcast's system in Fort Wayne, Ind.

CONCURRENT

Concurrent Computer Corp. president Steve Nussrallah has added the title of CEO.

DISNEY

Christine M. McCarthy has joined The Walt Disney Co. as senior vice president and treasurer. McCarthy had been executive vice president and chief financial officer of Imperial Bancorp. Anne Buettner has been promoted to senior vice president, corporate taxes, from vice president of corporate taxes.

FINISAR

Wim Mostert has joined Finisar Corp. as director of broadband-systems engineering. He had been vice president of technology at Augat/Thomas & Betts Corp. Bill Ellis has joined Finisar as director of cable-television applications. Ellis had been vice president of research and development at Augat/Thomas & Betts.


So FNSR has aspirations in the CATV market.
