thats what I thought, the problem was (at least my) repositioning strategy didn't work. I failed to recognize we were in a bear mkt for techs and buying the leaders didn't return to prior levels, in fact they lost even more in some cases... jdsu an example of this. What did work for me was changing to a sort-of modified value play in a hot sector b2b, psft, etc. - those went up. But thats different than what I did last year. Someone told me recently bear mkts tend to last between 6-18 mos. so thats good news.
