Let's see. Market makers match buy and sell orders as well as trade for their own account. They attempt to insure an orderly market. Their brokerage arm assist investors in finding value amongst a wide array of different investment opportunities.

The only smoking gun appears to belong to a few retail shorts who have shot themselves in the schwance and now want an easy out of their predicament. It isn't happening.

Mark - Gunn Allen's longtime support for GUMM has been no secret to anyone who has followed the company for the past year or so. I've seen SSEC on the market maker reports, so I know (and anyone who has Level II ought to have known) that they also make an active market in GUMM. Now that Steve just commented that they've been parked on the bid for awhile, I assume that some of their accounts understand and believe in GUMM like many of GNLN's accounts do, and believe (as I do) that it's cheap here - especially right at this moment. Whether they're scooping up sells at the bid, or buying the shares that you guys are shorting, I applaud them for their savvy. Simple as that.

I'm not sure what Dan is supposedly disavowing, but I don't think I'm privy to anything that anyone would feel the need to disavow. -Eric
