This race is absolutely tied. Here's why. Average poll today shows Bush 3 points ahead. Bush's 37% lead in Texas and other double digit leads throughout the deep south and rockies do not count. But they are counted in these national polls. I've calculated that Bush's bloated leads in uncontested states are at least 3% of the national vote. So there you have it. Absolutely tied. This will come down to who wins the greater part of Florida, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Tennessee, Maine, Missouri and Arkansas. I believe Gore has finally put Michigan, Wisc, Minn , Iowa and Wash safely into his column. Do the math and see how close this could be.
