j- re: start buying Monday two problems with that thesis: 1) i sent money via checks to datek. they said i can not buy options with that money for 10 business days (half a month in layman's days) they got it on oct 26. meanwhile i'm buying stock and using margin until nov 8. i've made 21.5% but it could have been better with options. i sold half at the close friday and will buy more stock with the cash on monday if it's on sale. but it looks like i'll have to wait till wednesday to invest the way i want to with options. i plan the conservative approach until i get back up to zero (i'm in the hole). i'll probably buy QQQ mar90s or 100s. 2) mercury is still in retrograde until tuesday afternoon. -polvs
