Eric,

I understand what you meant now and agree with you. As I said before, GNLN and SSEC buy when they have buyers and sell when they have sellers. GNLN in particular has been a heavy buyer the last week or two. They aren't doing it to support the stock. Presumably they are buying because the shorts have pushed it down to a price where they think it is a bargain. I haven't seen SSEC on the bid since about 14 but I suspect they will be buyers again "very soon", if you catch my drift. Collectively a few of my friends have picked up a few tens of thousands of shares the last two weeks and they still have more to buy. Fundamentals will drive the stock price, not a bunch of irrelevant drivel from two or three short sellers on SI who think they are bigger than the market.

I guess Mark was just trying to spread a little innuendo because I don't see that you've "disavowed" what I said before

Give me a break. For the record, I hold no position in GUMM at this time, although it's true that I'd only consider going short a stock like this. For the record, Dan said "I don't know what Eric meant by his statement." which is why I said "Dan is now disavowing any understanding of what you posted." For the record, I don't particularly care for the style of many people who are posting negatively about this stock. For the record, I think much of what has been posted here in support of this stock is nonsense. Finally, for the record, when you make statements like "I appreciate everything SSEC and GNLN have done to stabilize GUMM's market, but let's just say I don't think we'll be needing them much longer.", you invite questions like the ones I was asking. I'll leave it to disinterested observers to decide where the innuendo was coming from.
