Hi sylvester80; Re incompatibilities and the first DDR machines. This is not a surprise, instead it has happened with every new memory technology, including RDRAM (look at the errata list for the i820). Here's what I wrote regarding the subject back on Sep 20: #reply-14415700 You have to be a bit nuts to buy the first of anything. Fortunately, the world has its share of nuts, and they will buy those first MBs.
