Yep, it was Craig McCaw who made the TDMA decision. Many people on this thread seem to believe that AT&T made the TDMA choice. Some even think Mike Armstrong made it. I cannot believe that AWE would transition from TDMA to GSM, one 2G tech. to another, makes no sense. It will be very interesting to see what AWE does to satisfy the demand for wireless data. We won't have to wait long.
