Jill: Curious.Who did The New Yorker give credit for welfare reform? Did they mention the increased taxes on social security income. Did they mention the gas tax increases. Did they discuss the deep cuts in military thanks to a lack of a superthreat. Did they mention the switch from long rates to short rates on the debt early in his first term, saved 200b+ annually but a balls to the walls risk. He is the best in history at taking credit for others work, ideas and ingenuity.
