Bracelets for email addresses? Talk about gross margins! :)

Don't forget or earrings. It is your choice. You do have to come into one of the stores to get these. We are not shipping them. Either costs me about $9. I get an email address andusually a sale this time of year when they pick up the gift. Then with a referral one receives a $10 gift certificate but one cannot buy anything for only $10.

I believe I have this down pat. The bracelet or earrings cost me $9. I am averaging $100 sales when they pick up their gift. They in turn email another friend and recieve a $10 gift certificate which they are using on-line for $80-$150 items. This gives me gross margins of about 35%.

We added 400 addresses during the last week.

Now I have a question. If we are turning a profit due to a promotion to get new customers, what is my customer acquisition cost? I always thought that was a strange metric.
