Hitler was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and signed a Concordat with the Vatican. He was violently opposed to socialism, communism, and capitalism. He was especially opposed to democracy and liberalism (in the European sense). He also hated the Prussian ruling class, had contempt for the nobility, and the high command of the army. Terms such as conservative or right wing really don't apply to Hitler, although many of his traits -- such as antisemitism -- were held in common with them.
